The challenge
What usually gets in the way
Opening an online store involves more decisions than it first appears: which platform, how to take payments, how to handle shipping and taxes, what policies to publish.
Getting these wrong early leads to abandoned carts, unexpected fees or a store that’s hard to manage.
How Kimberly helps
A clear plan, then the work
With a background in banking and payments, I pay particular attention to the parts that touch money: checkout, payment providers, fees and payouts. We set up your store on a platform suited to your products and budget, such as Shopify, and make sure it’s ready for real customers.

Questions
Which platform do you use?
The one that best fits your products, budget and plans. Shopify suits many small product businesses; we confirm the choice together during the discovery call.
Will you set up my sales taxes?
I configure tax settings based on the information you provide. Whether and where you must collect sales tax is a question for your accountant, and I recommend confirming it before launch.
Can I sell digital products?
Yes. Digital downloads, courses and services can be set up too; we scope them in your proposal.
How does payment work?
Fixed-price sessions are paid when you book. Projects start with a written proposal; once you approve it, a deposit confirms your start date and the balance is due as set out in the proposal. Prices are in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes.
Do you guarantee results?
No. I can promise careful work, clear thinking and a finished deliverable. Customers, sales and growth depend on your market, your execution and factors no advisor controls, and anyone who guarantees them should be treated with caution.
